Interview: D’Amber Chanel SINGER/MODEL URB continually seeks the freshest talent in HIP-HOP/R&B. And thisweek, we’re proud to bring you our latest discovery. Her name is D’AMBER CHANEL, and take it from us, this one you’ll want to watch.   
URB: Hi D’AMBER, and thanks for spending some tome with us today. D’AMBER: Hi. Thanks for having me. URB: So, tell us about you. What kind of a girl is D’AMBER? D’AMBER: (giggles) I think I’m a down to Earth, good girl. But, most importantly, I’m a cool chick! I live in the Bay Area, and I love to sing. URB: We understand that you’re cutting an album. D’AMBER: Yes! And I’m very excited. We’ve been in studio and things are moving along in a great way. URB: This being your first album, are there other artists that you’re drawing influence from? D’AMBER: Absolutely! I’m a big fan of Mary J. Blige, Teena Marie, and Mariah, of course. URB: What subjects interest you most? What do you like to sing about? D’AMBER: Well, I am a girl, as you know (giggles). So, I like to write about what most girls are consumed with, love and relationships. URB: Outside of the studio, how do you pass your time? D’AMBER: I’m currently going to college for Health Care Technologies. URB: WOW! That sounds……important! D’AMBER: (giggles) Yes, I guess so. I’m mainly focused on the admin side. It’s a big job, but it is something I know I can do well. URB: So, if you had your choice, would you choose Medical Technologies or singing? D’AMBER: Hmmm!
